Most of the trip home is pretty
fuzzy. We left Carbon Jct around 0400 for the daunting 18-hour drive
back to Spring. Dawn happened somewhere between Aztec and
Albuquerque. Dusk happened somewhere between Ft. Worth and Ennis.
Michele caught the hot-air balloon (below) somewhere near
Albuquerque and that was the last of the photos. We were both just
too tired and worn out to care about taking photos of
north Texas.
We arrived in Spring well after
dark to find four very happy cats. Apparently they missed us.
My sincerest gratitude to my
mother-in-law, Mary, for once again house sitting and keeping the
cats happy and fed. For the record, I'd rather have a dog that I can
take on these trips. But, for the time-being I'm stuck with cats.
