I had to travel to Arlington, Longview, and Monroe for work. I'd been to Monroe, LA once before and knew the Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi Railroad ran by the office there. As far as I know, it's not a particularly special shortline railroad, but it's different from UP and BNSF, so I took the camera along.

I was hoping to get catch at least one train go by when I had a minute to grab a shot. This one showed up as I was unloading the truck. Perfect timing!

The following morning I was blessed with a second opportunity just after I arrived! I wish I'd time to chase and get some video. But, work comes first.

After wrapping up work and before the 5 hour drive home, I stopped by Duck Commander; the headquarters for the popular Duck Dynasty show and the Robertson family. I, along with millions of other fans, love this family and their efforts to spread Christianity to a county and society that sorely need it. While there I bought a couple of onesies for the baby. =)
